Avoid motorways, tolls and ferries
Keep to the good roads with the avoid options in the planner.

Under the search box in the planner are three chips:
- No motorways: free for every rider.
- No tolls: avoids toll roads and bridges, with Byker Premium.
- No ferries: with Byker Premium.
Tap a chip to switch it on, and the route re-plans straight away. The options are saved with the ride.
Byker avoids them wherever there's another way. If there's no other road, the route may still use one.
