Explore the map

The Map tab shows Byker on a full-screen map, opening where you are.

Choose what it shows

Tap the button at the right of the search box to choose a view:

• Rides: your rides and rides other riders have published, as red lines. Tap one for its card, then the card to open the ride. Tag chips under the search box filter them.
• Places: fuel, cafés, bike parking and more. See Find places along the way.
• Events: meetups, group rides and more, where they meet.
• Alerts: camera vans, road closures and a biker down, reported by riders.
• Speed cameras: fixed and average speed cameras.

The search box searches what the view shows. Searching rides looks everywhere, and fits the map to what it finds.

Buttons

At the bottom right, one button centres the map on you, and another opens Riders nearby.

Zoomed far out, the map shows the most popular rides only. Zoom in for more.
