Hear about events near you
Get a notification when a new meet, group ride or charity event is organised near your town.
Updated 18 October 2026
Byker can tell you when a new public event is organised near you.
- Open Profile → Account Settings → Notifications.
- Under Events near you, tap Turn on.
- Choose the kinds of event, and how far from your town.
Byker uses the town or area in your profile, never where you are now, and never your address. Without a town, it's paused: add one in Profile → Edit Profile.
You'll hear about each new event once, when it's made public.
