Join or start a club

Ride with your club on Byker: club rides, events, a noticeboard and a chat.

Updated 18 October 2026

Clubs are groups of riders who share rides and events with each other.

Join a club

Open Profile → Clubs and tap Find a club, or open a club link someone sent you. Depending on the club, tap Join club, Ask to join (an admin approves it), or accept an invitation.

Free riders can be in 1 club; with Byker Premium, as many as you like.

Inside a club

  • Members, Rides and Events tabs.
  • The Noticeboard: news, meeting times or club rules, pinned by the club's admins.
  • Club chat, with every member.
  • Where members are: members sharing their location with the club, with Premium.

Share one of your rides with a club from the ride's page: More → Share with a club. Organise a club event with New club event.

Start a club

With Byker Premium, you can start up to 5 clubs. Tap Start a club, then choose its name, town or area, who can see it (Public, Unlisted or Private) and how riders join (Open, Ask to join or Invite only). Clubs can have up to 200 members.

Owners and admins edit the club, invite and approve riders, and run the noticeboard. Only the owner makes admins, hands the club on, or deletes it.
