Ride together as a group
A leader and sweep, stops along the route, and one-tap messages to the group. Free.

Group ride mode keeps everyone together on a group ride, or any event with a route.
Set it up
If you organise the event, tap Set up the ride on its page:
- Leader: rides at the front and calls regroups. It's you unless you choose another rider going.
- Sweep: rides at the back, so nobody is left behind.
- Stops: add regroup, fuel, food and rest stops, place each one on the map and give it a name if you like. Byker puts them in order along the route.
Riders who can see the event see the stops. The leader and sweep show to riders who can see who's coming.
On the day
From an hour before the start, riders going and the organiser can tap Open the live ride. You'll see:
- the route, its stops and everyone sharing their location, with the leader in green and the sweep in blue
- riders in order along the route, how far behind the leader each one is, and anyone off the route
- messages from the group
Share your location so the group can see you (Share my location, in the app).
Tell the group
Tap once to send I've stopped, Need fuel, Lost the group, Need help or All good. The leader, sweep and organiser can also call a Regroup (at a stop or where they are), say they're Moving off, and End the ride, which stops everyone sharing their location with the event.
Lost the group, Need help and the crew's messages notify every rider; the rest go to the crew. Switch them off under Group rides in your notification settings.
Messages never include where you are, and they're deleted a week after the ride.
