Check a registration
Buying a used bike? Check it against open stolen reports.

Anyone can check a registration, signed in or not:
- in the app, in Stolen & Found, under Check a plate;
- on the website, at byker.net/stolen.
Type the registration as it is on the plate, and tap Check. If it matches an open report, the report shows.
No match?
Byker says No open Byker report for that registration. That doesn't mean the bike isn't stolen: not every theft is on Byker. When buying, ask for the V5C, and check its frame number matches the one on the bike.
